WWE WrestleMania 34 Matches Predictions

Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship

The famous and most expected rematch from WrestleMania 31, is sure to see these two superstars trade away some heavy blows, in return hoping to claim the Beast’s Universal Championship. The Beast won this Championship back at WrestleMania 33 from Goldberg after giving him a sufficient tour of the suplex city. Roman Reigns became the number one contender of the title by beating six other superstars at Elimination Chamber. The match-up has been expected ever since Brock won the title, and speculations are that this would be Brock’s last title defence as he drops the title to reigns and heads back to UFC this summer.

Prediction: Roman Reigns wins.

Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship

This mixed match is a result of much controversy born due to Angle dropping a pipe-bomb-esq details at Ronda Rousey’s WWE contract signing at Elimination Chamber. Triple H and Kurt Angle have beef to settle from the last years Survivor Series where Triple H handed over a cheap shot to Angle followed by a pedigree to him. Rousey and Stephanie last met in ring at WrestleMania 31 where Rousey as a guest was humiliated by Stephanie before being humbled by the former. This feud is going to be a culmination of a long time rivalry between Steph and Ronda, and a great deal of entertainment for the fans.

Prediction: Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey win.

AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura for WWE Championship

AJ styles will be facing the king of Strong Style in what can only be described as an instant classic between the two. Its surprising to see that though being two of the most over draws of the WWE universe, these two have never crossed paths even once in WWE, partly due to a main Roster Debut of AJ styles whereas Shinsuke taking a more laid down approach through the NXT. AJ styles has been defending his championship against much spectacular odds and that too with clinical performances, which he won from Jinder Mahal at WWE’s tour to London. Nakamura made his way to the number 1 contender by becoming the sole survivor of the 2018 Royal Rumble and by standing tall over 29 other participants. Though a rematch from NJPW’s WrestleKingdom, it is very hard to predict this monster of a match.

Prediction: Shinsuke Nakamura wins.

Charlotte Flair vs Asuka Women SmackDown Championship

The Queen of WWE will face the Empress of Tomorrow at the grandest stage of them all. A very Royal match indeed. But it remains to be seen that is Charlotte ready for Asuka? One of the dream matches on the card, it sure is going to be explosive given the amount of flair these two superstars have. Charlotte is a little less likely to retain the championship given the rumours around the fact that WWE is building up for Rousey vs Asuka for Survivor Series this year, but you must never rule out the Queen, given her stellar feud with Sasha Banks in previous years.

Prediction: Asuka wins

Miz vs Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor

One of most interesting matches of the evening as Rollins tries to prove himself to be the Man , as Balor tries to reclaim a throne of his chossing after successively failing to win what he never lost, and Miz being the Miz, proving once more that he is the most talented Superstar on the WWE Roster, and has made the Intercontinental championship relevant.

Prediction: Rollins wins

Caesaro and Sheamus vs Braun Strowman and partner

This match is  going to be one of the goofiest match and the most entertaining match both at the same time, as WWE goes to prove without saying that Braun Strowman is actually a monster among men and he is just disguising as one. It would also be nice to see Caesaro and Shemus after a long time as they haven’t had any particular challenges so far, since Shield split up sadly due Dean Ambrose’ injury. It would be really interesting to see who Braun chooses as his tag team partner, though I would love it if we get to see Elias on the other side of the apron. It would be like the Bar but with the Giants that everyone love, and giants who hate each other.

Prediction: depends on the tag team partner, though the Bar is likely to retain.

Alexa Bliss vs Nia Jax

Alexa Bliss vs Nia Jax is a recent addition to the match card of WrestleMania after Jax got furious when she caught Bliss and Mickie James on tape bad mouthing her behind her back. A rampant Jax instantly went on a destructive mode and made a challenge to Bliss for her title on WrestleMania, which the commissioner Kurt Angle approved! So its Jax vs Bliss for Women’s title. Oh its true! Its Damn True!

Prediction: Alexa Bliss retains her title

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn

A short match to instigate a rivalry between Owens and Zayn here set up by Smackdown live Commissioner Shane McMahon, following which he was on the receiving end of a brutal backlash. This match is most probably going to be just a minor blip on the WrestleMania Radar, unless we see a sharp double turn by Owens becoming a face and Zayn betraying him in a classical fashion where Shane-O-Mac interferes. Actually scratch the part where I said minor, it’s going to be huge.

Prediction: no result most probably, but if I have to give one winner: it’s going to be Zayn.
